Just preparing strawberries and nothing else

This weekend, while I was preparing some strawberries for lunch, my mother asked me if that was a moment of spirituality, because while I was doing it it seemed that I was thinking about life. I explained her that Zen does not mix spirituality with thinking about life or God or Buddha while we prepare strawberries. In Zen spirituality is just preparing strawberries and nothing else.
