Enlightenment

People often ask me what is to attain a state of "enlightenment." In my humble opinion, the "enlightenment" is the highest expression of spiritual and intellectual life in man. It´s being fully awake, fully active, fully aware of being alive. It´s a spiritual wonder. It´s a spontaneous awe in front of the sacredness of life, of being. It´s s gratitude for life, for the consciousness, for being. It´s the perception of the fact that life in comes from an inner source, invisible, transcendent and infinitely abundant. "Enlightenment" is, above all, a state that is reached when we are fully aware of the existence of that source within us.
